The aim is to apply of core knowledge and methods to solve practical problems in the selected areas. Student studies a problem and complexity of its structure and based on the conclusions of the analysis performed on possible ways of solving it. By studying literature students are introduced to methods of solving similar tasks and practice in solving them. Acquiring knowledge about the structure and form of writing a thesis that reports about the conducted research and other activities carried out within the stated theme of the final work. Producing the Bachelor with Honours Thesis, students gain experience in writing papers in which it is necessary to describe the problem, methods and procedures performed and results obtained. In addition, the goal of writing and defending the final work is to develop the student ability to self-employment preparation results in a convenient form of public presenting, as well as respond to comments and questions about given topic.
Student will be trained to independently apply previously acquired knowledge in different areas that have been previously studied, in order to review the structure of the given problem and its systematic analysis in order to draw conclusions on possible directions for its resolution. Through the use of literature independently, students expand their knowledge of the chosen field of study and different methods of work that are related to a similar problem. Self studying and solving tasks in a given topic area students gain knowledge of the complexity and the complexity of the problems of their profession. In the process of preparing a Bachelor with Honours Thesis student gain some experience that can be applied in practice in solving problems of their profession. Preparation of the results for public defense, public defense and answers to questions and complaints of commission, student acquires the necessary experience on the way to present the results of independent or team work.
It is formed in accordance with the individual needs and fields covered by the given topic of the final paper. Student, in consultation with a mentor makes final thesis written in accordance with standards of the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad. Student prepares and defends a written final work publically, in agreement with a mentor in accordance with standards. Students study literature, professional and graduate student projects that deal with similar topics, analyzes in order to find solutions for issues defined in final paper assignment.
Mentor of Bachelor with Honours Thesis drafts the task and submits it to the student. The student is required to implement all the requirements posed in the mentor assignment. During the preparation of the Bachelor with Honours Thesis the mentor can give additional instructions, refer to the literature and give suggestions in order to improve the quality of the thesis. In the theoretical part of the Bachelor with Honours Thesis the student consults with the mentor and, if it is necessary, with other teachers who are dealing with the topics from the field of the Bachelor with Honours Thesis. Within a given topic, the student may perform certain measurements, tests, counting, polls and other surveys, if that is stipulated by the tasks assigned by the mentor. After the completion of the Thesis, bounded copies are given to the members of Commission for assessment that would approve the defense of the Thesis. Defense of the Bachelor with Honours Thesis is public, and the student is required to present his work and to answer to the questions and comments of the members of Commission.
