The subject is aimed for giving of need knowledge and skills to listeners in the field of computer aided simulation of product behavior and their components. Simultaneously with that, students would to be prepared for simulations of manufacturing processes in industrial production systems. In the same time, this subject prepares listeners for using of contemporary software solutions and software tools for that aims. In the result of studying on this subject, students would to be introduced in majority of modern techniques and tools purposed to simulations and could to acquire practically useable knowledge and skills for application in the subject field.
In the result of attending of the course, students would to be prepared for development and application of simulation models, for successful work with contemporary software solutions purposed to simulation of simple and complex objects and for operative applying of those tools in real industrial manufacturing systems.
Basic terms in the subject field and their explanations. Simulation models: types, characteristics and importance. Procedures of visualization and animation as basic mechanisms in contemporary software tools purposed to simulations. Simulation of technical systems ( product ) behavior based on its geometric model. Principles and procedures of cinematic simulation. Dynamic simulation. Distortions and simulation of product parts in deformed status. Procedures of simulation of transitional status ( floating of fluids, consolidation from solutions, floating of solid substances ). Simulation of manufacturing processes. Procedures and tools of working operations simulation. Simulations of manufacturing processes based on simplified models. Virtual reality simulation models and simulation of manufacturing in industrial production systems.
Lectures are realizing in frontal approach with using of modern didactic means. Exercises are predicted for realizing in the computer aided labs. During of course, students have obligation to complete individual and independent seminar work.
