The aim of this course is to enable students to design and implement an electronic healthcare system. Students learn how to use Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) and modern technology solutions to increase efficiency in healthcare institutions.

Students who listen the course and pass the exam e Government know the principles, they are able to accept and implement this technology in a business environment. Students are able to look at all aspects of Internet business in public administration to the extent that they can explore and prepare materials, analyze the current situation and provide expert advice on the implementation of business solutions. On the basis of acquired knowledge, students can work independently on the development and organization of e Government systems in local, regional and national institutions. Students will be able to independently control the correctness of the documentation as well as the flow of documentation.

Analysis of the concepts of the electronic health system. Architecture and infrastructure of electronic business in health care. Management of electronic business in health care. Managing e-Documentation. Appearance of healthcare institutions on the Internet. E-marketing in healthcare. Electronic Commerce in Pharmacy. Quality management of e-health services. Standards in e-health. Diagnostic information systems. Telemedicine systems. Virtual reality in health. Mobile Business and Internet Intelligent Devices in Health. Personalized e-health. Analysis of legal and ethical norms in e-health.

During the lectures, students become familiar with the technological solutions applied in the field of e-Government Systems in health care. The exercises are performed in the laboratory with the help of computers and the exercises to encourage individual work and group work on the development of software solutions in the domain of electronic Health systems.
