This course examines the current adventures of influential and rapidly evolving technologies and contemporary trends in organizations and their business in various industries and sectors. Students will address these trends and ways in which organizations are faced (or not) with the changes that are coming. In addition to the tools and best practice analysis, students examine the challenges and opportunities in designing projects that implement new technologies and monitor trends. Other topics include managing change in organizations and tracking trends.

After this curriculum, students will be trained to discuss the impact of new, radical technologies on organizational change. Students will also learn about trend analysis tools and will be able to devise a project plan that includes new trends and new technologies and illustrates their impact on organizations and industry.

Introduction to trend analysis; Industry 4.0; Virtual reality; Internet of thingsM; Smart production; Smart cities; The role of data, information, knowledge and cooperation with future organization; Digitization and networked economy; Big industrial data trends and analytics forecasts for smart business transformation; Converting trends in business opportunities.

Oral lectures and exercises, consultations, seminar work, expert visits to specific companies, consideration of concrete case studies.
