Educational goal:

Knowledge management aims to develop the ability of students to work according to the characteristics of the knowledge economy, the basics of knowledge management theory and the basics of methodologies for monitoring and measuring intellectual capital organizations.

Educational outcome:

The student has mastered the concept of a knowledge-based strategy, the latest methods of monitoring and managing the invisible capital of a company, i.e. Knowledge flow management. The student is competent to analyze and create solutions using real-world knowledge management methods in further education and work in a real environment.

Course content:

Fundamentals of knowledge management theory. Basic characteristics of the knowledge economy. The learning organization. Knowledge worker. Knowledge flow management principles. COP 's-Community of experts to support formal organizational structure. The case studies of managing the flow of knowledge. The method for measuring and monitoring of intellectual capital of the organization-IAM (Intangible Asset Monitor). Value networks.

Teaching methods:

Lectures, computer and auditory exercises. Theoretical part of the material is presented in lectures, accompanied by characteristic case studies. At auditory and computer exercises, students analyze case studies by extending the acquired theoretical knowledge.
