?raining of students for systematic study of modern energy technologies, overview of general interests and justification of modern energy technologies use, overview of interests and importance of modern energy technologies applications for industrial enterprises from the standpoint of: increase of energy efficiency, security of supply, environmental, economic and sociological conditions.

Gained knowledge will allow to an engineer to understand justification of introduction of modern energy technologies in industrial enterprises, influence on total manufacturing costs, environment and total prosperity of the company.

?nergy technologies, energy efficiency and environmental protection, necessity of primary energy transformation and influence of energy technologies on transformation efficiency, modern technologies for transformation of primary energy into thermal energy, modern technologies for transformation of primary energy into power, modern technologies for combined heat and power production, modern technologies for energy accumulation in order to increase energy efficiency of energy systems and decrease of costs for primary energy buying, possibility of application of modern energy technologies in manufacturing processes and security of working and living comfort.

Lectures, seminar and consultations. The only way to pass the exam is through work and defense of seminar or, if needed, by additional oral examination.
