Introduction to selected field of service engineering, and helping students with their individual research work. Determining the development perspectives of service engineering, mastering current approaches and methods of research work driven towards improving work processes in service systems.

Getting to know current development trends and approaches in area of solving problems in service engineering. Students will be able to see problems and find quality and precise solutions to them using scientific and research methods. Development and improvement of creative component that student posses both in individual and team work

Service- service package, important factors for designing service package. Types of services and service processes. Service concept. Service quality and service quality components. New service design, new approaches in service design, service designe models, organizational alternatives to service designe. The process of developing a new service. Planing of services and service proceses, metodology of planing. Inovations in service, managing inovations in service systems. Integrative solutions and perspectives of service engineering. Location of service systems. Facility layout of the service system. Service companies, service company models, architecture of service company. Designing customer driven service companies.

Lectures. Consultations and tutoring. Assignment papers. Presentation of theoretic knowledge is enriched with examples from real world. Through student research work, reading of scientific papers and other relevant literature, and writing assignment paper, the lectures are more enriched
