Introduce students with agile approaches in defining and managing processes and projects in various industrial and service areas. Specificity of agile approaches in IT projects. Application of different methodologies, standards and tools that support the agile mode of operation at all stages of development and realization of products and services.

Knowledge of different methodologies for the development of products and services, with special emphasis on software development and application of IT tools and techniques. Upon completion of the course, the student is able to select and actively apply an adequate methodology and tools for a specific project and to explain his / her choice.

The term agile action methodology; History of development methodologies; Life cycle of agile projects; Phases of the life cycle; Agile production; Additive technology; Agile approaches in the field of IT, models of software development; Agile methodologies (SCRUM, Extreme Programming, Feature Driven Development - FDD, Dynamic Systems Development Method - DSDM, Crystal, Software Adaptive Development - ASD); Automated development and modern tools for planning, design, construction and documentation; Tools for supporting team work and tracking project progress.

The method of teaching is based on the multimedia lectures and computer exercises. In lectures explaining the basic models and theoretical approaches, and specific examples showing the application of acquired knowledge. Exercises in computer classes are conducted in an interactive form through the use of modeling tools.
