The aim of this course is to provide students with practical knowledge about scientific and research work in the field of quality management, quality management systems implementation and quality management models of excellence. Students will be introduced with theoretical and practical knowledge about methods and techniques of questionnaire development and applying questionnaire as a research instrument. In addition, students will learn about the nature of research population, methods and techniques of questionnaire distribution, as well as how to collect research data from respondents. Finally, students will be familiarized with practical aspects of applying data processing methods, that are commonly used in studies of quality management (development of a research framework and research model, research instrument reliability and validity assessment, confirmatory or exploratory factor analysis - CFA and EFA, Structural Equation Modeling- SEM, etc.).

Upon completing and passing the exam, the student will be able to define research framework and model, to conclude, analyze, discuss and provide valid answers about research hypotheses, research framework and research model.

Basic concepts related to the development and application of (1) questionnaire as a research instrument (2) research framework and research model development; (3) questionnaire reliability and validity assessment; (4) practical aspects of factor analysis application, whether it is confirmatory and / or exploratory, (5) practical aspects of structural equation modeling, (6) a review of ethical principles in scientific and research work.

Lectures, research work, consultations. The rating is based on the success of the project and an oral exam.
