Educational goal:

The goal of course is Corporate Social Responsibility (1) to enable students to develop the ability to analyze the theoretical approaches to business and corporate social responsibility, (2) to recognize the need to adopt a policy of corporate responsibility at the strategic level, and (3) to be able to design and implement policies strategy and corporate social responsibility in contemporary industrial systems.

Educational outcome:

Students who live audience of the course and pass the exam are able to: (1) analyze the theoretical approaches to corporate social responsibility applied in modern industrial systems, (2) gain insight into the current business practices in relation to corporate social responsibility, (3) identify strategic elements development of corporate social responsibility industrial systems, (4) understand the main issues arising from the implementation of corporate social responsibility in contemporary social and economic context, (5) form a component of corporate social responsibility, the position of engineer who is a manager and / or analyst position human resources in the sector, or in any other position in the company, and (6) participate in all phases of implementation and review of policy of corporate social responsibility.

Course content:

Introductory settings (generation term corporate social responsibility, processes of transformation on global basis, changes in social relations and the implications for business, ...), Corporate Social Responsibility (term and definition), Strategic aspects of corporate social responsibility, human resource management and corporate social responsibility , models of corporate social responsibility, the dimensions of CSR, corporate social responsibility to employees, corporate social responsibility to the market, corporate social responsibility to the wider community, corporate social responsibility towards the environment, the personal liability of managers and employees and corporate social responsibility, Dedication, care for other people (prosocial behavior) and locus of control, Ethics and morale of employees, Factors that affect morale, Recommendations for improving ethical behavior in the organization, Two approaches to making moral decisions, The influence of organizational culture on personal responsibility, Strategy formulation and personal responsibility, Measures to increase corporate and personal responsibility.

Teaching methods:

Teaching is conducted through lectures and auditory exercises. In the exercises to encourage group work. Students are expected to actively participate in lectures and tutorials and do the required essay, because it is so open to the possibility of practical application of knowledge on all aspects of corporate social responsibility and the implications that spot application of this concept has on the life of the community, not just the business organization.
