Educational goal:

The subject aims to enable students to manage their personal creative potential and creative potential of other employees in organizations, in order to solve the existing problems and to develop new products and services. Students will learn to understand the role of creativity in solving business problems; also, they will be introduced to creative problem solving techniques.

Educational outcome:

After completion of the course and exam prerequisites, students are expected to be able to analyze the presented problem, to master the creative problem solving and to be able to choose the techniques that should be applied. Students are also trained to develop and use personal creative potential and creative potential of employees in organizations. After completion of the course, students will gain the practical knowledge necessary for creating relevant ideas, concepts and solutions to business organizations. They will master implementation of the idea management system and creative management of organizational processes.

Course content:

The concept of creativity, creative approach to problem solving, techniques of creative problem solving, creativity and entrepreneurship, creativity and management of human resources, the direction of thinking and observation of the problems context, divergent thinking as the basis of creativity, the creative potential of employees, the factors of creativity and development of creativity, critical thinking , managing the creative potential of employees, systems management ideas, creative work in the working groups, creativity and diversity of resources (multiculturalism).

Teaching methods:

The course will be realized through lectures, combined with demonstrating certain analyzed phenomena, with presenting relevant case studies, realizing individual and group assignments and students' discussions.
