The goal of this course is acquiring knowledge about team functioning, their creation and maintenance. The conditions and laws that determine the success of the team are very often part of the overall organizational culture and intellectual capital which is defined as structural. Practical course objective is to enable students to function in teams.
Obtained knowledge provides an opportunity for understanding the importance of teamwork, manners and conditions of its functioning. Application of learned useful information about the prerequisites for the success of the team and its performance is the expected educational outcome.
The difference between groups and teams; Organizational preconditions for team creation; Stages of team creation; Cooperation in team; Types of teams; Building team performance; Team roles; Team success; Decision making in teams; Management teams.
Teaching activity is organized on interactive method of cooperation with students, including analysis of case studies and practical tasks of modern organizations. Lectures and exercises are designed to create clear principles of team functioning.
