Educational goal:
Introducing students with a comprehensive overview of the role of insurance companies in the financial market, regulatory aspects for the implementation of financing activities and the importance of providing additional liquidity to the financial market by insurance companies as institutional investors.
Educational outcome:
After passing the exam, students will have sufficient level of knowledge to be able to recognize the importance and role of placing free insurance funds, primarily from the technical premium of life and non-life insurance, as well as the benefits that such activity brings, both to the market and the insurance company. Also, students will be adequately prepared and familiarized with specialist knowledge to acquire the appropriate certificates in addition to formal education, which are needed for direct business of placement and investment of assets.

Significance of insurance and connection with financial risk, importance of quality financial risk assessment in the insurance and investment market, insurance implementation costs, regulation of institutional investment of insurance companies, sources of funds for institutional investment, insurance companies as participants in the financial market, investment portfolio management and its characteristics, investment environment
