The aim of the course is that students gain basic knowledge about the structure and operation of automated systems, in order to realistically determine insurance premiums.
The outcome of the subject is knowledge about the structure and operation of automated systems, based on which insurance premiums can reasonably determined.
Introductory considerations and basic concepts. The definition and classification of systems. Analysis of the system. Control of technical systems. Automated systems. Intelligent systems. Industrial comunication systems. Automated systems for security. Methods of assessment of the equipment used in systems that are insured.
Teaching is conducted through lectures and exercises. During the exercises the student is required to do practice-oriented tasks. Knowledge testing is carried out through two tests and the final exam, while before that student has to do all the exercises provided. The final exam is in written form.
