Objectives of the course are to introduce students with the conceptual and methodological fundamentals of the investment process, as well as the analyses of performances and optimal management of the investment activities both from theoretical and practical point of view, with accent on the application and solving specific issues that arise in everyday business practice. Taking into account the simultaneous necessity for the analyses of the investment activities, both macro and micro aspects, market and market relations doctrines are especially analyzed with the evaluation of the risks and effects of the investment activities.
The students who complete this course will be able to apply a wide range of methods, techniques and tools in the function of optimizing the investment process, that is, the adequate formulation, implementation and evaluation of the investment strategy, which will, for its ultimate effect, have maximization of return on invested assets with the determination of the acceptable level of risk.
