Educational goal:

The objective of the course is to enable students to understand the conceptual and methodological basics of enterprise portfolio management with a particular emphasis on the investment portfolio as well as acquiring research oriented knowledge of the academic level in the subject field.

Educational outcome:

After the course, students will be able to use the acquired knowledge in professional work and further professional development. Students will acquire knowledge in the field of optimization and creation of optimal investment portfolio, its maximum efficiency and utility while minimizing costs.

Portfolio definition and characteristics; Theoretical and practical approach to the portfolio; Portfolio as an independent and dependent investment variable; Analysis of interdependence and conditionality; Portfolio theory; Portfolio management; Portfolio value analysis; Formal risk assessment of the portfolio; Portfolio risk management instruments; Portfolio effect; Creating an efficient portfolio; CAPM model; Arbitrage pricing theory; Technical analysis; Career in the field of investments; Creating and managing portfolio; Portfolio risk and return assessment.
