Subject: Project Based Management (17.IM1324 )
The educational goal of the course is to introduce students to the concept of managing project-oriented enterprises and implementing the organizational strategy based on project principles. Through familiarization with these concepts, students will understand the interrelation among modern organization, its growth and development in market conditions, and the significance of the project approach in organizing the processes in the company.
Students who successfully pass pre-exam obligations and the exam are able to: (1) manage the organization on project principles; (2) establish a project approach in the development of organizations in accordance with the strategic goals of the organization.
Characteristics of modern organization and its environment. Organizational structure. Project and matrix organizational structure. The choice of structure. Connection Project - Agenda - Market. Establishing project strategy. External and internal organization. Multinational projects.
Teaching is conducted through lectures and practical classes (auditory). Lectures are interactive, combine theory and practical examples, giving basic concepts and theoretical background for in management of project oriented enterprises. Practical classes include interactive analysis and solving of case studies. Students work in small groups on specific project assignment whit the aim to apply acquired knowledge.
