Educational goal:
The aim of the course is to acquire advanced knowledge in the field of Business Information systems and introducing students to the current research in this area. Further more, enabling students for developing Business Information Systems in real environment.
Educational outcome:
Learning outcomes are the knowledge and skills of students in independent and team scientific and research work in the field of Business Information Systems. Upon completion of the course, students will be introduced to open problems in the field of application of Business Information Systems, as well as basic techniques that are used to explore them.
Course content:
Modern Business Information Systems in organizations. Busisness Information Systems development strategy. Function integration of the organization by using Business Information Systems. Availability and data protection. Key components and implementation phases of Business Information Systems. Case studies, research and development projects in the field of Busines Information Systems.
Teaching methods:
Lectures are conducted in a combined way. Leacturing of the theoretical part is followed by examples which serve to clarify the theoretical part of the curriculum. In addition to the lectures, consultations are held regularly. Through study research student, studying scientific journals and other literature, independently deepens the subject. In addition to working with the student teacher is trained to write his own scientific work in the chosen field.
