Educational goal:

Review of the current state of the proposed topic for the doctoral dissertation on the basis of analysis of scientific literature - books, monographs, articles in reference journals, conference papers, available documentation on web sites, etc. The aim is to look at the possibilities of work and the scientific potential of the topic.

Educational outcome:

Acquiring systematized knowledge in the field of research for the doctoral dissertation, as well as clear directions for further work on the thesis.

Course content:

Defining a broader topic of doctoral dissertation and key research motives. A review of literature based on available scientific books, monographs, articles in reference journals, conference papers, available documentation on websites, etc.

Teaching methods:

Within this course, student does consultations with the mentor, and with other teachers who are experienced in the same scientific field of the thesis. If needed, student performs various measurements, do the research, use polls, and does the statistical analysis of the results.
