Educational goal:
Introducing students with theoretical and practical aspects of creating and maintaining a digital real estate cadastre defined as a land information system and a public service. Through this course, students are introduced to the legal measures taken after the Second World War, which have influenced the form of the current cadastre, as well as the directions of the development of the modern cadastre.
Educational outcome:
Acquisition of theoretical and practical knowledge and skills in the three-dimensional presentation and record of the space, development of cadastral data model and practical application of the state information system of the real estate cadastre and lines.
Course content:
Lecture content: Cadastre updating in Europe. Three-dimensional cadastre. Cadastre as a basis for creating geoinformation systems. Contemporary methods in cadastre updating. Legal institutes in the cadastre. Agrarian reform. Sequestration, colonization. Nationalization. Expropriation. Arondation. Expertise and supersaturation. Usurpation. The role of geodesy in the implementation of spatial and urban plans. Old diameter, maintenance of old diameter in the cadastre. Trend of development of the modern cadastre. Cadastre and national infrastructure of geospatial data. Practice content: Practical application of presented concepts from lectures.
Teaching methods:
Teaching forms: lectures, auditory exercises , consultations, individual elaboration of obligatory tasks. Knowledge evaluation: guided and individual elaboration of obligatory tasks; seminar paper; written partial exam; final examination – oral form.
