ECTS 5

Acquisition of basic knowledge in the field of Physical Geodesy. Introduce students with theoretical and practical concept of physical geodesy, boundary problems of the theory of gravitational potential and mathematical models used in the determination of geodetic reference surfaces.

Defining the impact of the field strength of Earth's gravity, as well as its importance for modeling geodetic reference surfaces. Creation of mathematical model of gravitational field and influence of topographic masses, ie prediction of parameters of anomalous potential of the Earth's gravitational force.

Introduction to Physical Geodesy. The theory of the Earth's field of force is more difficult. Gravity, gravity and centrifugal potential. The gravity of the force and the potential of the force are more difficult. Laplace's and Poisson's equation. The normal field of gravity is heavy. Anomalous field of gravity is heavy. Stokes equation. Vening Meinesz - this equation. Vertical deviation. Application of the Stokes formula. Reductions and anomalies (Free Air, Faye, Bouguer, Poincare-Prey, Helmert). Theory Molodensky. Systems height. Methods for determining Geoid.

Forms of teaching: lectures; computer exercises; active participation; making tasks.
