Educational goal:

Acquiring knowledge on modern methods of design, construction and management of concrete bridges.

Educational outcome:

Ability to apply modern systems of concrete bridge construction in order to optimize their design, construction and management.

Course content:

Contemporary procedures on design, construction, maintenance, rehabilitation and management of bridges. Concrete beam road and railway bridges. Pedestrian bridges. Frame (integral) bridges. Viaducts and aqueducts. Arch bridges. Suspension bridges. Cable-stayed bridges. Application of modern regulations in the design, construction and management of concrete bridges.

Teaching methods:

Lectures in the form of presentations and consultations with the teacher. The student chooses the field of seminar work that writes in consultation with the teacher. Defense of seminar work.
