Acquiring specific knowledge in the field of contemporary graphic devices and systems.Training students for independent work in the field as well as for the use of acquired knowledge in setting up experiments and their successful, methodologically correct implementation. Training students to solve experimental issues using appropriate methods and techniques. Developing analytical thinking and the ability to apply acquired knowledge in further professional and scientific work.

Ability to deal with scientific and research work in the field of contemporary graphic devices and systems. Ability to engage in scientific research in the field of contemporary graphic devices and systems, the ability to interpret and solve problems related to the subject, and knowledge of basic theoretical directions. The part of the course is conducted through independent research work in the area related to the subject. Independent research work includes a detailed overview of the current scientific literature related to the field of contemporary graphic devices and systems, writing short thesis and scientific papers related the subject.

Graphic processes, communication technologies, printed media, graphic technologies, graphic technologies without a master, post graphic production, production strategies in printed media, graphic systems, complex graphic systems, structure of complex graphic systems, building concepts for graphic systems, systems for printing, systems for post graphic production, systems for packaging and graphic materials, inspection and quality of graphic systems.

Lectures. Consultations. Lectures are organized in combined form. The presentation of the theoretical part is followed by the corresponding examples. In addition to lectures there are regular consultations. Part of the course content can be passed in segments (making a logical unity) during lectures, and by writing a seminar paper (presented orally).
