Educational goal:

Acquiring knowledge, competences and academic skills in the field of novel (contemporary) printing techniques, as a stage of graphic production in which prints are produced on various substrates. Development of creative abilities and mastering of specific practical skills in the area of contemporary printing techniques. A teacher intention is that after this course students be trained to do scientific research and participate in relevant researches for the field of contemporary printing techniques, with the focus on the application of these techniques.

Educational outcome:

After the successful completion of the course, the student is able to engage in scientific and research work in the field of graphic engineering and design related to contemporary printing techniques. Mastering methods, procedures and processes in obtaining prints and examining their properties and quality using scientific methods. The ability to be self-critical and think critically with the approach in the field of modern printing techniques. After this course, the student is able to: connect acquired knowledge with the courses that follows and to apply it in scientific research that incorporates modern printing techniques as a tool, communicates with other researchers and works in the team, creatively think, demonstrates understanding and skill as well as to use the acquired knowledge to design new solutions to engineering problems, but also to independently pursue learning in this field.
