Mastering of advanced principles and techniques of statistical programming. Students should apply acquired knowledge in anaysis, study and solving real problems.

This course will train students to independently use statistical software for data processing. The student is trained to analyze, study and solve real problems using the acquired knowledge.

Statistical programming languages and their application in data processing. Data structures, flow control, functions, strings and graphical representation of results. Data collection and analysis. Arithmetic mean of the sample. Samples dispersion. Empirical distribution function. Modus. Mediana. Point estimates. Intervals. Statistical tests. Sampling correlation and regression. Application of statistical programming in data science. Predictions and evaluations. Analysis of concrete examples.

Lectures. Computer practice. Consultations. The student is obliged to independently do the project and write a seminar paper.
