The objective of the course is to get acquainted with the development of multilayer applications that are applied in Smart Grid systems.
Educational outcomes are the ability to design and develop multilayer software applications in Smart Grid systems.
Architecture of software applications in Smart Grid systems: centralized and decentralized. Software components in Smart Grid systems (OMS, DMS, GIS, EMS, CMS, etc.), analysis of communication network and communication types between components. Formation of complex multilayer applications for the integration of components within the Smart Grid system. Communication between components in Smart Grid systems. Standardization in communication. Project: Development of complex multilayer applications for Smart Grid systems. The use in smart grid software model. Algorithms overview and data model in smart grids. Numeric calculations in smart grids.
Teaching takes place through lectures and computer exercises. During the exercise, the student is obliged to do practically oriented tasks.
