Acquiring basic knowledge about integration technologies, as well as integration patterns used in integrations of infrastructural software systems. Introduction to the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) and their applications in infrastructural systems relying on messages compliant with IEC 61968-100 standard.

The ability to design and implement solutions based on standard architectures and methodologies for integrating applications and infrastructural systems. Understanding of integration patterns applicable in integrations of infrastructural systems based on data modeled compliant with Common Information Model (CIM).

Integrations of distributed systems. Integration patterns. Examples of integrations of infrastructural systems. Defining messages compliant with IEC 61968-100. Message exchange – periodical, per request, event based. Characteristics of ESB architecture as a standard way for systems’ integration. CIM messages defined by XSD scheme. Defining Web Services using WSDL. Integration frameworks – Spring Integration, Mule ESB. Message exchange frameworks WCF, JMS, MSMQ, OPC UA. Multispeak specification. The use in infrastructure system software model. Algorithms overview and data model in infrastructure systems. Numeric calculations in infrastructure systems.

Lectures; Computer Practice; Consultations. Throughout the computer practice student is required to complete practically oriented tasks.
