The aim of the subject is to develop knowledge of basic concepts of design and integration system architecture.

The outcome of the subject is acquiring necessary knowledge, skills and abilities required for understanding structures and tasks of system architecture

Introduction to real time systems and their classification. Real time operating systems. Real time communication infrastructure and connection with field. Architecture of redundant and distributed real time systems. Integration with business information systems. Architecture and functionality of SCADA systems. Process IO and measurement data processing. SCADA program model of controlled system and implementation of control procedure. User interface subsystem. Historical data. Examples of typical system infrastructures.

Lectures; Computer practice; Consultations. Throughout the computer practice student is required to complete practically oriented tasks.
