Educational goal:

Introduction to Power Delivery System Basics, Distribution Automation and Control Hierarchy. Power System Operation, Basic DMS Functions, Basis of a SCADA, Outage Management, Substation Automation, Feeder Automation. Design of LV Distribution Networks and Hardware for Distribution Systems. Protection using Relays and Fuses, Fault Passage Indication, Autoreclosing, Intelligent Electronic Devices. Faults on Distribution Networks, Performance and Basic Reliability Calculations, Improving the Reliability of Networks with Automation.

Educational outcome:

Obtaining of basic knowledge about Power Distribution System, Distribution Automation and Control, DMS Functions, SCADA, Outage Management, Substation Automation, Feeder Automation, Hardware for Distribution Systems, Protection using Relays and Fuses, Faults on Distribution Networks and Reliability Calculations.
