Educational goal:

Acquisition of basic knowledge in the field of design and industrial application of measurement-and-information technologies.

Educational outcome:

Understanding the basics of design and industrial application of measurement-and-information systems. Ability to work in an engineering team, development of engineering logic for working in a real environment, understanding and solving problems related to the industrial application of measurement-and-information systems. Ability to search relevant literature and other forms of information from the field of industrial application of measurement-and-information systems. Ability to process and present relevant research results. Ability to apply knowledge about basic system components to the design and use of complex industrial measurement-and-information systems in real operating environment.

Course content:

Advanced topics in the following areas: Industry and measurement-and-information technologies. Industrial application of analog modules. Industrial application of digital modules. Industrial application of analog-digital modules. Industrial application of measurement instruments. Industrial application of sensors. Industrial application of measurement-and-information systems in real working environment. Solving problems that arise in the practical implementation of industrial measurement-and-information technologies.
