Ability to engage in the measurement process and process the results in the industry.

Course content:

Methods for processing results. Statistical processing of measurement results. Estimation and Prediction. Metrological traceability. Arrangement on mutual recognition of the results of the calibration. ISO 17025 in metrology. Application of Monte Carlo in estimating measurement uncertainty. Estimation of measurement uncertainty of input quantities. Estimation of measurement uncertainty of output sizes. Estimation of measurement uncertainty with correlated input sizes. Estimation of measurement uncertainty with unordered input sizes. Extended measurement uncertainty. Determining the degree of freedom in estimating measurement uncertainty.
