General information:

Category Professional-applicative
Scientific or art field Energetska elektronika, mašine, pogoni i obnovljivi izvori električne energije
ECTS 5

The aim of the course is that students master the basics of architecture, different types and principles of modern vehicles. Students will master the basics and application of software, and various electronic devices on conventional, hybrid and electric vehicles. Students will study software design, control and electric circuits, power converters and electric motors in modern vehicles. Students will master microcontroller control of various devices and systems, as well as various modes of communication in the vehicle.

Students will master the architecture and basic principles of operation of the vehicle. It will master the basic aspects of dynamics, mechanics and vehicle management strategies. Students will master the basics of the system for: active management, energy management strategy, passenger protection, braking, anti-lock braking system (ABS) and traction (TCS) wheels, stability control (ESP), heating / ventilation / air conditioning. In addition to electronic devices and converters in cars, students will master knowledge of electric motors in vehicles, as well as energy storage units. Students will master the basic principles of modern vehicle diagnostics. Students will master the basic principles of developing software for the automotive industry (reference V model, ISO26262, AUTOSAR, MISRA, FMEA). Concepts will be studied on the latest generation microcontrollers, using "C" and MATLAB autocoding environments. Students will master knowledge of communication systems and sensors.

Overview of electrical devices and vehicle systems. Design of software for use in vehicles. Control and energy electronics and motors in vehicles. Different ways to control devices and systems using modern microcontrollers. Communication. Commercial devices, market and ways of using. Future directions of development
