Application of basic, theoretical-methodological, scientific-professional, expert-applicative and research knowledge on solving concrete problems within the selected topic of research. By studying various literary sources students are introduced to the latest knowledge and achievements in the field of research, with scientific methods designed to solve similar or new problems and with scientific approaches in their solving. In this way, the student creates the basics and acquires the necessary experience in solving complex scientific and research problems from the research topic within the study program.
Training students for achieving scientific abilities and academic skills, developing creative abilities and mastering specific practical skills from the research topic within the study program. The student is also able to independently solve theoretical and practical problems, understanding and using contemporary knowledge, the ability to monitor contemporary achievements, independent and creative action, linking knowledge from different fields and application, solving problems using scientific methods, performing numerical simulations, experimental research, transferring and discussing the results of the research, communication at the professional level in writing and communicating scientific and research results to a wider scientific expert community.
Search and analysis of scientific and research results. Planning and performing numerical simulations and experimental research. Acquisition, processing, presentation and disuscitation of research results. Writing, publishing and communicating scientific research results from research topics within the study program.
Within this course, student does consultations with the menthor, and with other teachers who are experienced in the same scientific field of the thesis. If needed, student performs various measurements, do the research, use polls, and does the statistical analysis of the results.
