Students will learn how to interpret massive amount of data and how to utilize generated knowledge from the data. These techniques of the processing and transmitting data in real time represents key mechanisms in contemporary 'smart' computational devices.
Knowledge about massive amounts data modeling and processing. These techniques cover wide spectrum of the automatic learning algorithms and generation of high-performance computational models.
Review of the computational intelligence and its applications. Fuzzy systems and its applications. Cluster analysis. Data reduction algorithms. Artificial neural networks: types, learning algorithms, and applications. Solution space searching: evolution algorithms, particle swarm optimization, etc. Detail elaboration of a selected examples from industry.
Lectures. Tutorials. Consultations. The teaching is divided into two blocks. In the first block students attend theoretical classes. During the second block students work on tasks which comprise their examination papers.
