Gaining deep knowledge in the field of legal informatics.
After successfully completing the course a student (1) can understand advanced legal informatics concepts and (2) is capable for research in the field of legal informatics.
(1) legal document engineering, (2) legal knowledge engineering, (3) legal text mining, (4) retrieval and browsing of legal information, (5) smart contracts, (6) legislative networks, (7) standards in legal informatics and open access to legal information.
Teaching methods include: lectures, developing project and consultations. During the lectures the content of the course is presented using the necessary didactic tools while active participation of students is encouraged. The course lecturer has consultations with the students. During the consultations the students are given additional explanations of the material covered at the lecture and practice classes.
