Acquiring extended knowledge in the field of software systems based on Internet architecture and qualifying for design and implementation of specific applications.

The capacity to follow technological development for design and implementation of complex information systems intended for global communications among participants of business processes.

Hardware, communication and software architecture of cooperative information systems. Technologies of cooperative information systems. COA architecture. Examples of complex COA architecture based systems. A part of course teaching is performed through individual research in the field of Internet-based systems. Research and study work include active monitoring of primary scientific sources, possible writing of paper in the field of Internet-based systems.

Teaching methods are: lectures, practical computer skills, project elaboration and consultation. Lectures are intended for presentation of course contents and stimulation of active participation using necessary didactical tools in such a way that the students are obliged to explain the contents being assigned to them. Practical work is performed by computer application. The student is obliged to elaborate the project alone.
