Scientific or art field Processes for Material Removal Processing
ECTS 10

Acquiring knowledge about contemporary approaches to non-conventional processes. Development of scientific abilities, academic and practical skills in the domain of non-conventional processes. Achieving scientific abilities to independently solve practical and theoretical problems in the field of unconventional processing procedures in order to expand and redefine existing knowledge.

Basic knowledge of the problem of non-conventional processes. Ability to independently solve practical and theoretical problems using scientific methods and procedures in the field of non-conventional processes. Understanding creativity with the aim of developing new ideas and / or processes that are at the middle of the context of work or science, through the principle of self-promotion of their work and achievements.

State and directions of current research in the field of non-conventional procedures for the removal of materials, especially from the point of view of increasing the output technological characteristics of the process. Justification of the production application of unconventional processing methods: abrasive jet machining, water jet machining, ultrasonic machining, electroerosive machining, laser machining, electron beam machining, plasma machining, chemical machining, electrochemical machining. Innovation of existing and possibilities of application of newly developed unconventional processing methods. The directions of the development of combined unconventional processing methods, either with one another or with conventional methods. Teaching on the subject takes place through the study research work, which involves the active monitoring of primary scientific sources, organization and performance of experiments, statistical data processing, modeling and simulation of the processing process.

Lectures, study research work and consultations. The lectures provide a theoretical part of the material using modern equipment and information and communication technologies. Through lectures, a student acquires and mastered contemporary scientific knowledge, scientific methods and procedures that enable him to become independent research work. In addition to lectures, consultations are also held regularly. Study research work includes all forms of teaching that are in the function of directly training a student for research, writing scientific papers and making a doctoral dissertation. Study research work includes active monitoring of primary scientific sources, organization and execution of numerical simulations and experimental research.
