Acquiring knowledge, developing scientific abilities, academic and practical skills of an integrated and sustainable building design process, explaining the basic concepts involved and outlining the fundamental application of this approach.

Fundamental knowledge of issues in the field of integrated and sustainable design of objects, in theory and practice. Ability to independently solve practical and theoretical problems using scientific methods and procedures in this field. Mastering the creative abilities and methods applying the concept of integrated and sustainable design of objects.

Concept Design Low Carbon Building Design Advanced Thermal Modelling Advanced Airflow Modelling Advanced Lighting Modelling Building Life Cycle Assessment

Lectures, independent study and research work, consultations. Lectures are held in combined way. Theoretical part is presented in lectures and it is followed by appropriate exampled contributing easier understanding of the subject content. Students expand knowledge through study and research work, studying of scientific journals and other literature. In cooperation with professor, student is enabled ot independently write scientific papers. Also visits to international conferences and exhibitions and national and international exchange with KGH, ASHRAE, REHVA… Used software are: DesignBuilder, IES-VE, EnergyPlus, SketchUp with OpenStudio, IntergaCAD.
