Acquiring knowledge about phenomena, mechanisms and processes related to production, application and manipulation of "particles" and powders in the field of energy and process industry, occupational safety and environmental protection.
Ability for application, production and manipulation of dispersion systems with "particles" in the field of energy and process industry, occupational safety and environmental protection.
Heterogeneous systems of fluid-solid particles, fluid-drops. Characterization of particles and particle systems. Particle size distribution. Study processes in which the "particles" are produced / applied: liquid atomization, fluidization, fluidized bed combustion, sandblasting, granulation, crushing, microfluids, nanofluids ... Acquiring knowledge of processes in which "particles" and powders are manipulated and managed: transport of powders, transport of emulsions, aerosol transport, heterogeneous system rheology, separation of "particles".
Interactive lectures, independent study research work, individual and group consultations. Working on a computer, creating a project task, searching for, analyzing and discussing scientific achievements and current research in the field of particle technology.
