Application of basic, theoretical-methodological, scientific-professional and expert-applied knowledge and methods for solving concrete problems within the selected area. Within this part of the doctoral dissertation the student learns the problem, its structure and complexity and, on the basis of the conducted analyzes, concludes with the possible ways his solution. By studying literature students are introduced to methods that are designed for creative solving of new tasks and engineering practice in their solving.
Training students to independently apply previously acquired knowledge from different areas they have previously studied, to look at the structure of the given problem and its systemic analysis in order to draw conclusions about the possible directions of its resolution. Through independent use of literature, studentship the knowledge from the selected area and the study of various methods and papers related to similar problems. In this way, students develop the ability to conduct analyzes and identify them problems within the given topic. Practical application of acquired knowledge from different fields in students develops the ability to perceive the place and role of engineers in the selected area, the need for cooperation with other professions and teamwork.
It is formed individually in accordance with the needs of making a concrete doctoral dissertation, its complexity and structure. The student studies professional literature , doctoral dissertations of students dealing with similar topics, performs analyzes in order to find a solution of the specific task defined by the task doctoral thesis.
Within the framework of the study research work, the student conducts consultations with a mentor and, if necessary, with other teachers dealing with issues related to the topic of work itself. Within the given subject, the student performs certain measurements, tests, counts, surveys and other research, as well as statistical data processing, as required by the doctoral dissertation.
