ECTS 10

Understanding mathematical methods used in the channel encoding. Analysis of algorithms for decoding algebraic block codes, codes based on low density matrices and graphs, codes based on trees and trellises, as well as all other known channel codes.

Ability to research in the domain of encoding techniques and signal transmission.

Algebraic block codes. Algorithms for decoding algebraic block codes. Codes based on low density matrices and graphs. Algorithms for decoding codes based on low density matrices and graphs. Codes based on trees and trellises. Algorithms for decoding codes based on trees and trellises. Teaching is partially realized through independent research and study work in the field of digital signal transmission techniques. Research and study work includes active following of primary scientific sources, organization and conducting of experiments and statistical data processing, numerical simulations, writing scientific papers in the field of doctoral thesis topics.
