This course aim to teach students to model, design, analyze, verify and explore cyber-physical systems that interrelate physical processes, embedded systems (including sensors and actuators), networking and software.
After successful completion of this course students will be able to model, design, analyze, verify and explore cyber-physical systems. The specific focus is on relationship between particular physical processes, embedded systems including sensors, actuators, networking and software.
Review the state of the art in cyber-physical systems (CPS). History of CPS. Relations to other fields (e.g. IoT). Specification and modeling of CPS. CPS architecture. Sensors and actuators application in CPS. CPS control. Communications, signal processing and networking of CPS. Mobility in CPS. Security and privacy in CPS. Computational complexity issues in CPS. Design of CPS. CPS verification.
Lectures will be given with each student individually. Teacher will, in cooperation with each student, select his/her's areas of interest and propose a scientific literature and topic that a student should prepare and present. Student research work.
