Educational goal:
Acquiring knowledge in the field of clinical engineering.
Educational outcome:
Understanding the basics of clinical engineering; Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team of clinical engineers and doctors to understand and solve problems related to the application of medical equipment and technology in healthcare institutions; the ability to search relevant literature and other forms of information in the field of clinical engineering and the ability to present research results; good knowledge and understanding of the application of electrical engineering and computer science in clinical engineering.
Course content:
The notion of clinical engineering. Development of clinical engineering. The role of clinical engineering in the organization of health centers. Clinical Engineering Programs. Manage and check medical equipment and technology in nursing systems. Strategic planning of medical technology and equipment. Project selected by a student in one of the following areas: medical aspects and clinical engineering; mathematical models in clinical engineering; physics and chemistry in clinical engineering; analog systems in clinical engineering; microcontrollers in clinical engineering; software in clinical engineering; Internet systems in clinical engineering.
