The integration of all acquired knowledge and making students capable of creative thinking in the aim of designing original innovative medical devices and systems necessary for modern research in biomedical engineering and for upgrading clinical practise.
Expected course outcome are the skills that students will acquire in terms of designing modern medical devices and systems. With special emphasis on the ability of a student to integrate different acquired skills in order to define technical requirements and for the realization of original medical devices and systems.
Techniques for designing complex biomedical systems.The integration of advanced software and hardware solutions. Projecting systems optimized in terms of forest levels, energy usage, dimensions... The primary and secondary chemical power sources: characteristics, circuits for control and monitoring, chargers... Wireless power supply for electronic devices and subsystems. The realization of managing algorithms, communication protocols and algorithms for the digital processing of signals on modern microcontrollers.
