Enabling students to keep themselves up to date with new research and literature and including them in active research in the area of advanced control systems.
After completing the course students will be able to keep up to date with newest literature and research in the area of advanced control systems as well as to perform research task in the same research area on their own.
Model predictive control, fractional PID, distributed order PID, optimal linear controllers, robustness of optimal linear systems, auto-tuning, gain scheduling, H infinity control, MIMO control, expert systems for fault detection, methods for industrial systems fault detection and diagnosis, fault tolerant systems.
