The acquisition of knowledge in the field of advanced signal processing techniques, with particular emphasis on biomedical applications.

Acquired knowledge used in the further education and in vocational subjects.

Processing of electrophysiological signals. Electrocardiography, electromyography, electroneurography, electroencephalography. Application of DFT, FFT, neural networks, wavelet transformation, FIR and IIR filters ... A part of the course teaching is done through independent research and study work in the field of biomedical signal processing engineering. Research and study work include active monitoring of primary research resources, organization and execution of experiments, numerical simulations, writing of paper in the field of signal processing in biomedical engineering.
