Gaining knowledge about electrical measuring instruments and ways of measuring basic measuring quantities. Knowledge about sensors, electric, hydraulic and pneumatic servo systems and industrial regulators.
The acquired knowledge is used in future education and in engineering subjects.Students learn how to correctly choose and measure sensors , actuators or regulators for concrete practical problems in industrial processes.
Errors in measurement. Standards and rule books for measuring instruments (measuring and indicated range, precision class, reference conditions, test intensity, markings). Measuring basic physical quantities (current, voltage, power, resistance). Electrical servo systems. Hydraulic servo systems. Pneumatic servo systems. Use of industrial regulators (temperature and pressure regulators, pneumatic pressure regulators, analogue and digital electronic regulators). Logic automats (relay, electronic, programmable).
Lectures and laboratory practice classes. Consultations.
