Acquiring skills for in-depth and comprehensive understanding of the development and changes of various architectural programs during transition in Serbia, the region and the world. Developing capabilities for synthesis opinions about architecture through understanding of historical, artistic, cultural, political and sociological development and their transposition into modern society.

The outcome of this course is to introduce students to the transformation processes of different architectural programs in the period of the transition. Students will have the opportunity to research a wide range of phenomena in transitional societies studied through architectural changes and development of programs.

Transitology and modernization in architecture through social sciences. Globalization or transition of architectural programs. Criticism in transition architecture. Architectural transformation and adjustment to the transition. Continuity and changes of architecture in transition. The recent phenomenon of architecture and their manifestation in transition. Transition as an incentive for the creation of original ideas and progress in architecture.
