Acquiring primary knowledge on materials, technology of use, as well as making of structural elements and parts in design and realization of structures of scene objects.

Qualifying students for individual and group work on conceiving and designing scene and stage equipment, as well as architectural scene objects.

Conventional structures in scene design. Materials applicable to scene design through history. Introducing new materials and new technology in stage and scene design. Influences of technology on architectural corpus of scene objects. Production methods for stage equipment and stage technical systems. Organisation of design and production processes.

Lectures. Auditory and computer exercises. Consultation. Continuous monitoring of the level of student`s knowledge, colloquium and exam.
