Gaining knowledge, skills and experiences needed to master the dramaturgy of scene space, primary in theatre, as well as other art disciplines and forms which include the usage of space with emphasized drama and dramaturgical function.

The ability of students to follow, understand and evaluate dramatic and dramaturgical nature of space, as well as to explore the different approaches in treatment of time through art.

Dramaturgy as a method in creation of the flow of drama action. Drama text and drama structure. Drama and scene text. Dramaturgical inscenation of text. Drama text in theatre. Drama text in other arts. Dramatic and dramaturgical nature of everyday life. Treatment and usage of time in artistic practice.

Lectures, practice, critical workshops, practical exercises, individual and group consultations. Workshops include lectures, discussions, and critical evaluation student’s artwork, as well as artwork from professional practices. During the semester students work on conception and realisation of individual artwork that emphasise dramaturgical treatment of time and space.
